Hardware Block is a mixed-use three building project St. Charles completed in 2002. After acquiring the property, St. Charles performed an extensive historic renovation and converted the space into 22 luxury lofts, three floors of Class A office space totaling 40,000 square feet, and 19,250 square feet of storefront retail space. The project also included 70 underground, heated parking spaces. Upon completion in 2002, the $20 million project was 100% occupied.
